UAB Tekes again hosted the 2010 Alabama/NW-Florida Province Education Conference (PEC), Saturday, October 23. Approximately 60 fraters from chapters in Alabama, NW Florida and West Georgia spent the day learning how to become a better chapter through topics such as Rush/Recruitment, Risk Management, Project Managing events and Group Dynamics. It also allowed fraters to discover what others are doing to be successful in TKE Nation. In addition, a ritual workshop was held for initiated members and a separate round-table discussion time for candidates that were present. Presenters included Matthew Barclift (Nu Mu – CA ), Brian Coons (Endeavor Province PA ), James Warren (Pi Delta – GPA), Tareq Fayad (Pi Delta - PA), Michael Smith (Nu Mu) and Steve Hancock (Pi Delta -CA).
