Alpha Gamma Delta and Tau Kappa Epsilon were off to the races on March 19, 2009. The Kentucky Derby theme for this mixer was a great success. Tekes and Squirrels were paired off and placed bets on three different Kentucky Derby races. Prizes were awarded based on the number of points each team scored by selecting a first, second, or third place finisher. Frater Kyle Larsen was selected by Alpha Gamma Delta as “Best Dressed.” Carson Tallant was awarded the honor of “Best Hat.” Alpha Gamma Delta provided punch and snacks, and everyone had a great time during the event.

On, March 20, 2009, the Pi Delta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon and the Kappa Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi held their 2nd annual mixer: TOGA TOGA, Part II. Brothers dawned their best toga wear and headed to Matthew’s Bar & Grill on Morris Avenue for another outrageous night out with the Ques. Our very own Andrew Williams was on the turntables providing music for the all-night throwdown. This annual event is one not to be missed!

Here at the Pi Delta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon, we are staying busy and having lots of fun. On Thursday, we joined the ladies of Alpha Xi Delta down at the Bowling Alley for a little bit of nerdy fun. Everyone took the theme pretty seriously and had a really great time. I never wanna see that many suspenders or pocket protecters ever again. Thanks a lot ladies, it’s always a pleasure. -TKE
Last Thursday the men of TKE and the ladies of AOPi got together in the minipark for some “Greek Games”. Everyone showed up in their togas and we played good ol’ classic Greek games such as Egg Toss and Human Wheel Barrow races haha. We had a great time mixing and getting to know one another. Many new friendships were formed and everyone had a lot of fun. You girls are awesome, thanks again!
Thursday night the Brothers of TKE had the pleasure of mixing with the Ladies of Delta Gamma. We started the night off with a little bit of grilling and flag football in the Mini Park, and continued the mixer by showing some support for the ladies in their Intramaural game. A lot of our guys painted up and really got into the spirit. Once the game was over (and the paint was washed off) we all got together again to hang out for the rest of the night. Thanks a lot ladies, it was an awesome mixer.
As always, here are some pictures:
