Vegas anyone? Tau Kappa Epsilon hosted our first annual Vegas night at the Teke house. It was a HUGE success! We had games like blackjack, poker, and Texas hold’em set up throughout the house, and everyone enjoyed trying their luck at one of the 5 tables. In all, there were over 40 people in the race for the night’s top prizes! We had a great turnout with lots of gorgeous women — the ladies of UAB know how to have a good time, just like we do! Remember, this is just the start of the semester for our fraternity! Keep your eye out for all the new and unique events hosted by UAB’s best and most progressive Fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon.

On June 27th, we had our first big event of the summer Teke activities; our first annual “Get Wet With The Tekes” pool party. The event ran all throughout the day at University House from noon till past midnight with a great turn out. We started the day with barbeque, chilled tunes and lying in the sun and ended it with pool football, dancing and a lot of new friends! One of the greatest parts of the party was that we had guest fraters from chapters at Spring Hill, MTSU, and Troy. TKE NATION!

This years Red Carnation Ball was one of the best that we have had in years. Our venue, the Harbert Center, was amazing. We partied well into the night as we celebrated the end of an amazing school year as Tekes. Thanks go out to Josh and everyone else that helped to make this night a Memorable one. I love this Fraternity, it’s great to be a Teke.
I have to say, the idea was an odd one, but it turned out to be a great one! Alpha Gamma Delta joined us for an epic showdown of Wiffle Ball, with a twist. Every base was a kiddie pool and every base line was a Slip-N-Slide, it couldn’t have been more fun! Everyone came out in good spirits and everyone got really into the competition, we made the best of the warm weather. I’m tired of typing, so i think I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Well, if you haven’t already heard about it, then you need to come out from under that rock you are living under! Tau Kappa Epsilon and Omega Psi Phi are throwing the biggest party of the Spring on Friday, March 28th. The party is “Old Rome” themed, so make sure you have your Toga, or Gladiator costume ready to go. Make sure you attend this bad ass party thrown by two of Uab’s Most Progressive Fraternities. This will be a night to remember……
